New article from CBC! "SW Sounds: Crissi Cochrane"

The week before my single came out, I sat down in studio at CBC Windsor to pre-tape a short segment with Chris dela Torre of Afternoon Drive, out of London. I still get nervous when I do these interviews - I love and hate that - but the studio at CBC Windsor has come to feel like a safe place, enclosed and quiet and warm.
We talked about Heirloom, and the guitar for which it was named, and how I used to take it out and show it to the neighborhood kids when I was little, and tell them my dad was a rock star. I also talked about moving to Windsor and shifting into soulful music, and I talked a little about my custom love songs, two of which appear on the album.

Our chat created a lovely little six-minute radio segment that played before the world premiere of ‘Hungry Love’ on CBC on Monday, January 6. I tuned in with my family and my daughter danced SO hard when the song played.
Someone was super excited to hear mama on the radio (and eat raisins)! Thank you @CBCAfternoonDr for the interview and for being the first to play “Hungry Love”! 💕#yqg pic.twitter.com/EW4ZK4Uax9
