We Reached Our First Crowd-Funding Goal! + Featured on Indiegogo

I was up late last night, working on a tune in the studio while also baking a cherry clafoutis in the kitchen. I climbed into bed after 1am, and decided to check my email one last time before closing my eyes - and I discovered two email notifications from Indiegogo, showing that we had officially reached (and surpassed) our first crowd-funding goal in my animated music video project!

We raised over $3000 in just TEN days - completely exceeding every other crowd-funding project I’ve ever undertaken, both in dollar amount and speed. I’m so wildly grateful for this swell of support, and I’m honoured that this is a project people want to see, and that your enthusiasm mirrors my own. This is going to be wonderful!

Since our original goal was set on the lower end of our budget, and was based on hopes of receiving some grant funding which unfortunately has not come through - we are pushing forward with new stretch goals, offering bonus incentives for all contributors if we reach these secondary goals. The more funding we can raise, the more co-op hours Delaney can work on this project (which is a part of her Animation degree at Sheridan College), and the more loving detail that she can render in our finished work!
