Interviewed on CJAM 99.1FM

On Monday, I was the guest on Rosina Riccardo’s long-running show The Canadian Jam on CJAM 99.1fm. We chatted all about my upcoming “Why” animated music video, with updates on where we’re at in production right now, and reflections on some of my past (very crafty!) crowd-funding campaigns. PLUS, I gave Rosina the exclusive permission to broadcast our demo of the song, created this spring. It’s the first and only time the song is scheduled to appear on the airwaves before the finished recording is released - how cool!!

We are super thrilled to have reached our first fund-raising goal, and now we’re working towards our stretch goal of $5000. If we get there, all contributors will get access to my entire digital discography (including my self-produced “Bathroom EP” that I created when I was just 17 years old!), and we’ll also produce bonus features, like an interview with the artists and an Artist’s Commentary cut of the video.

We unfortunately haven’t been successful with our grant funding this far - it’s a really competitive year for grant funding and there sadly aren’t too many programs that fund video projects, either (which seems really crazy in this day and age where music videos are so essential) - so we’re really reliant on what we can raise on Indiegogo.
